The Facilitator is responsible for planning, improving, and delivering training programs designed to elevate the performance of Goosehead's agents. This role covers insurance product training, carrier and systems training, as well as service, sales, and marketing process training. Training is delivered in both classroom and one-on-one coaching settings for new hires and tenured teammates.
Facilitators collaborate closely with senior management to refine training methods, leverage engaging materials, and provide constructive feedback to agents. Ultimately, the Facilitator ensures Goosehead agents are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to be the best in the industry.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate classrooms of new agents while creating an engaging learning environment.
- Facilitate training sessions on best practices, processes, and systems.
- Deliver a mix of group teaching and individualized coaching.
- Update content for Agent Resources to support ongoing development.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Provide feedback to agents and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve training programs.
Experience and Education:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or a minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- At least 1+ years in a training role.
Preferred:
- · Familiarity with principles of adult learning and knowledge transfer.
- · Experience managing group dynamics and using virtual training tools effectively.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in training delivery.
- Experience with a structured sales and service processes.
- Genuine desire to help others learn and grow.
