About DeleteMe:

DeleteMe is the leader in proactive privacy protection. We help security teams reduce their human attack surface by continuously monitoring and removing exposed personal data (PII) from the open web — the very data threat actors use to launch social engineering, phishing, Gen-AI deepfake, doxxing campaigns, physical threats, and identity fraud.

Operating as a fast-growing, global SaaS company, DeleteMe serves both consumers and enterprises. DeleteMe has completed over 100 million opt-out removals, helping customers reduce risks associated with identity theft, spam, doxxing, and other cybersecurity threats. We deliver detailed privacy reports, continuous monitoring, and expert support to ensure ongoing protection.

DeleteMe acts as a scalable, managed defense layer for your most vulnerable attack vector: your people. That’s why 30% of the Fortune 100, top tech firms, major banks, federal agencies, and U.S. states rely on DeleteMe to protect their workforce.

DeleteMe is led by a passionate and experienced team and driven by a powerful mission to empower consumers with privacy.

Job Title:            Public Sector Account Executive, SLED

Location:              Remote

Job Summary:

DeleteMe removes the personal data — home addresses, family details, digital footprints — that puts warfighters, federal employees, intelligence professionals, state and local officials, and their families at risk of doxxing, targeting, and swatting. As adversaries increasingly weaponize publicly available information (PAI) against public servants at every level of government, DeleteMe's public sector business is scaling fast to meet the mission.

We're looking for a Federal Marketing Specialist to help build the marketing engine behind that growth. This role is the connective tissue between DeleteMe's broader marketing team and our public sector go-to-market, supporting the programs that build pipeline and credibility with federal, defense, and intelligence community buyers — while also extending that same playbook to state and local government audiences. The ideal candidate has sat inside a government contractor or federal SaaS company before and knows how public sector marketing actually works: the events, the compliance, the long sales cycles, and the specific language that lands with a CISO at DoD versus a CMO in commercial versus a state CIO.

Job Responsibilities:

-Coordinate DeleteMe's presence at public sector events across the federal, state, and local landscape — including RSAC Public Sector Day, GEOINT, Billington CyberSecurity Summit, NCSL, NASCIO, RGA/DGA, and agency or state-specific briefings.
-Partner with subject matter experts to create federal, state, and local-specific content, including case studies, one-pagers, briefing decks, and thought leadership, translating DeleteMe's commercial narrative on personal data risk, social engineering, and insider threat into language that resonates with government security, HR, force protection, and legislative stakeholders at every level of government.
-Enable the public sector sales team with battle cards, capture support materials, and talk tracks across federal and state/local (SLED) audiences, and keep that material current as the competitive and regulatory landscape shifts.
-Partner with sales teams to contribute marketing content for RFI/RFP responses, capability statements, and past performance materials.
-Understand where DeleteMe fits relative to schedules, federal contract vehicles (GSA, SEWP, OTAs), state and local procurement processes, and channel/reseller partners, and ensure marketing reflects that reality.
-Track event ROI, content engagement, and pipeline influence across federal, state, and local public sector segments, and report findings back to the broader marketing team.

Job Requirements:

-A minimum of 2–5 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally working within a fast-paced high growth environment.
-Federal or defense-adjacent marketing experience — you've worked at a government contractor, defense tech company, or federal-focused SaaS business, and understand this buyer isn't a commercial buyer with a different logo. State and local government (SLED) marketing experience is a strong plus.
-Fluency in the public sector ecosystem, including the acronyms, the events calendar, and the procurement rhythms and compliance considerations that shape how deals get done at the federal, state, and local level; security clearance familiarity is a plus, not a requirement.
-Strong project management and organizational skills, experience working closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams a plus.
-Bonus: existing relationships with federal, state, or local security, HR, or force protection communities, or experience marketing into DoD, IC, civilian agencies, state legislatures, or governors' offices specifically.

What we offer:

  • Comprehensive health benefits - Medical, Vision, Dental

  • 401k matching

  • 20 days paid time off

  • 15 sick days

  • 12 company-paid holidays

  • Childcare expense reimbursement

  • Fitness and cell phone reimbursement

  • Birthday time off

Benefits and eligibility may vary based on role, employment status, and other factors.
