What you’ll do in this role:

• Compile and review financial statements for various real estate investments and operating properties
• Prepare cash flow analysis, summary documentation and spreadsheets
• Generate, interpret and communicate financial performance returns
• Assemble quarterly compliance reports including financial statements, contingency schedules and covenant calculations
• Facilitate debt service maintenance
• Maintain and enhance portfolio reporting
• Interact directly with third party joint venture partners to generate accurate accounting reporting information
• Update waterfall models in adherence with third party joint venture agreements
• Collaborate with Convexity’s acquisition and development teams to perform project cost projections and budgeting
• Review and approve construction draws as well as funding/payment requests for accuracy
• Manage portfolio cash transactions and balances

The experience and skills we need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2-5 years of financial analysis or accounting experience
• Previous real estate industry experience
• An understanding of real estate financial modeling concepts, including investment waterfall modeling preferred
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel
• Previous experience working with reporting and/or data visualization tools preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
