Junior Staff Accountant

It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team. As a Junior Staff Accountant, you will undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks. Your main goal will be to help guarantee the company’s revenues and your work will have a significant impact on our company goals. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring the collection of customer payments, as well as the processing of vendor payments.
As our Junior Staff Accountant you will be responsible for:
Processing customer payments and refunds.
Applying cash receipts to customer accounts.
Owning accounts receivable process and working directly with customers to resolve past due balances.
Researching and resolving client billing problems or issues.
Reviewing and coding vendor invoices, reconciling vendor accounts and preparing ACH and check payments.
Reviewing and approving employee expense reports.
Assisting with gathering support for external audits.
Preparing and presenting financial reports for the Finance Team.

Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance concentration preferred
1-3 years of work experience
Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
