Job Summary: 

The Financial Analyst-Treasury & Pricing position supports the business through treasury management, product costing, customer pricing, and margin analysis.  This role partners closely with Sales, FP&A, Operations, and Accounting to ensure pricing decisions are informed, costs are accurate, and cash needs are proactively managed.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Treasury Management

  • Maintain a detailed, rolling 12-month cash forecast, updated monthly
  • Prepare a daily and weekly cash position reviewing all cash movements for accuracy
  • Monitor bank balances across all accounts
  • Manage vendor payment schedule with AP team
  • Track working capital metrics and monitor changes to each, modeling variances to understand companywide impact

Costing and Pricing

  • Maintain and update product standard costs
  • Perform cost rollups and analyze BOM changes
  • Analyze cost changes and their impact on pricing and margins
  • Maintain customer pricing files, models, and data
  • Partner with sales team on pricing exercises to ensure pricing aligns with cost updates and margin targets
  • Prepare customer and product margin analysis providing this analytical support to key stakeholders
  • Support monthly forecasting with up-to-date costing and pricing data

General

  • Provide support for month end close and audit requests
  • Improve processes and documentation related to pricing, costing, and cash
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed
  • Backup for Accounts Payable, as needed


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or analytical roles
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • This role is primarily performed in a professional office or remote setting and requires the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to support business operations. The position involves regular use of a computer, including typing, viewing screens, and participating in virtual meetings. Employees must be able to remain stationary for extended periods (seated or standing) with occasional movement throughout the workspace.
  • The role may require occasional lifting of light materials (typically up to 15 pounds), such as files, laptops, or office supplies. While the position is not physically intensive, the individual must possess adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform essential job functions.
  • Work hours may extend beyond the standard schedule during peak periods or critical business needs. The work environment is generally low-risk, with minimal exposure to physical hazards.

  • Participate fully in Finlays programs that drive continuous improvement methodologies.
