Job Description

This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week)

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is looking for a candidate to join our accounting/finance team.  As a member of our accounting/finance department, this candidate will collaborate closely with but not limited to our logistics department, warehouses and plants, cost accounting, purchasing and quality department.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing US inventory development particularly focused on US freight and duty costs consistent with latest US Customs and tariffs laws.
  2. Assist with US external audits (EY) and routine requests and/or transfer pricing studies with C/TXR-US consistent with latest US jurisdictional valuation requirements.
  3. Plant to plant shipment reconciliation, cycle counts, GRIR, goods in transit, intercompany invoices, quality and service costs.
  4. Serve as backup for local price variance analyses and reporting.
  5. Creating and maintaining monthly and ad hoc reports for all topics above as well as heavily participate in month-end and year-end close, create and post journal entries, General Ledger and account reconciliation.

In alignment with the tasks above it is important that the candidate possess deep operational knowledge in the Finance and Accounting work streams, strong technical acumen, SAP and other systems knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel required, Accounting and analytical/analysis skills required
  • Proficient with other MS Office applications such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • SAP Experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with Business Partners
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce and coordinate time sensitive deliverables
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and be willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems
  • Attention to detail and keen sense for accuracy
  • Exceptional data management skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $80,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
