The NetSuite Systems Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis, implementation, and optimization of business applications that support core business functions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the organization’s objectives. As a NetSuite Systems Analyst, this individual also provides mentorship to junior analysts, ensures best practices are followed, and leads more complex initiatives related to system improvements and business process automation. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and design of business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic recommendations 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze complex business requirements for new system implementations or enhancements 
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for the business applications and development teams 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions 
  • Drive the testing and validation of system changes, leading user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring solutions meet business objectives 
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals 
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including business workflows, system configurations, and user guides 
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and streamline business processes 
  • Ensure best practices are followed in requirements gathering, analysis, testing, and deployment across the team 
  • Assist in training and supporting end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and enhancements 
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in business analysis and enterprise systems 
  • Other job duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required – 5+ years  in a business analysis role, preferably working with business applications and functional teams. 
  • Preferred – 2+ years experience as a  NetSuite Business Applications Analyst
  • Expertise in business applications such as ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications 
  • Advanced understanding of business process analysis and optimization techniques 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience leading complex projects 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams 
  • Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and overseeing system validation processes 
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices in business analysis 
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, is a plus 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools such as UML, as well as tools like Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project 
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
