What You’ll Do:

The Fixed Asset Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the fixed asset function related to global data center construction and expansion. This role reports to the Fixed Asset Director of Operations Accounting and is a key contributor to the company’s month-end close, capitalization, and reporting processes. The Senior Analyst will work on the ongoing development, management, and administration of fixed asset accounting as it relates to fixed assets, construction-in-progress and data center builds. This includes close collaboration with data center operations, supply chain, engineering, project managers, and inventory teams to ensure accurate tracking, capitalization, and lifecycle management of construction-in-progress (CIP) and fixed assets.

About the Role:

This role requires building scalable, efficient processes and systems for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of capital spend, with a specific focus on fixed assets issued to data center builds, timely capitalization, and ongoing compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking approach to efficient accounting processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and the ability to communicate deliverables and recommendations. In this role, you can expect to:

  • Own the preparation of high risk manual journal entries, fixed asset subledger ownership, account reconciliations and preparation of key SOX control reports 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fixed asset processes, with a focus on scale, automation, and compliance.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for fixed asset accounting processes.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls over fixed assets as a control preparer
  • Provide analysis and insights related flux analysis
  • Work collaboratively with Global Business Services team members to scale operations

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on capital project/fixed asset accounting, inventory tracking, and fixed asset management.
  • Public company or Big 4 public accounting experience required. 
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP requirements for fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, and construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting.
  • Experience working with plant, warehouse, or data center environments and related inventory flows is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and large-scale asset tracking initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills & ability to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude that embraces challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Preferred:

  • Global Business Services (GBS) experience is a plus

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 to $168,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
