CueBox is a fast-growing early stage startup that offers a modern and all-in-one ticketing, fundraising, CRM software for performing arts organizations. These organizations are vital to local communities, yet, many of their operations are hampered by antiquated technology.

CueBox’s software directly increases our customers’ revenue (ticketing, donations), improves patron/donor experience and saves time on manual work. Our mission is to empower arts orgs with the best software to deliver the best patron/donor experience and expand their reach.

We have a growing customer base across theaters, symphonies, operas, ballets, choruses, and performing arts centers across the US who love our product.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly-motivated and entrepreneurial Founding Account Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle (lead generation, cold outbound, prospecting, demos, closing deals) and bringing in net new business to drive CueBox’s growth. The ideal candidate is driven, resourceful, tenacious, has a track record of success, and experienced in customer-centric & consultative selling techniques with multiple stakeholders.

Compensation & Location

Compensation: $100,000-150,000 OTE (50/50), uncapped commission

We are open to remote candidates based in the US. For NYC, you can come into our office located in the Financial District.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and own the full sales cycle: cold outbound (cold emails, LinkedIn, cold calls), discovery, demo, negotiation and close new customers
  • Build relationships with the executive decision maker and key influencers (e.g., Fundraising and Marketing Leaders) to drive sales using a consultative and multi-threaded approach
  • Understand customers’ key goals and pain points to conduct effective discovery sessions and present custom demos
  • Negotiate pricing terms to secure agreements
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM tool (Hubspot)
  • Attend industry conferences and events to showcase CueBox
  • Collaborate directly with CEO on sales strategy
  • Collaborate with rest of the team to ensure customer success
What We're Looking For
  • 2-4 years of full cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably at a fast growing software company
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and selling to SMB and mid-market customers
  • Proven ability to sell into executives (head of organization, head of a department) and work with multiple stakeholders to close deals
  • Proven track record of outbound prospecting and building your own pipeline through cold emails and cold calls
  • Exceptional discovery, demo and closing skills using a consultative and customer-centric approach
  • Self-motivated, growth-oriented and ability to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity and genuine interest about our product, mission and industry
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree
  • (Bonus) Experience selling software to non-profit organizations
  • (Bonus) Personal arts/music-related experience or interest
