STARLIMS Corporation is a private equity-backed, high-growth technology company scaling its financial planning and reporting infrastructure to support the next phase of growth.

We are hiring an FP&A Analyst to own financial planning, reporting, and systems architecture for the business, with a particular focus on managing and scaling our Workday Adaptive Planning environment. This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis and systems ownership — ideal for a finance professional who has led an Adaptive implementation (or owns one today) and wants to bring that expertise to a metrics-driven, PE-backed business. You'll partner directly with the C-suite and cross-functional leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and board/investor reporting, while serving as the internal expert on our financial planning tech stack.

Responsibilities:

Systems Ownership & Architecture

  • Own and administer the Workday Adaptive Planning environment, including model structure, data integrations, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Manage all data flows into and out of Adaptive, ensuring accuracy and integrity across connected systems (ERP, CRM, data warehouse).
  • Build and maintain automated, consolidated financial reporting files that refresh reliably for monthly SLT, Board, and investor review.
  • Continuously evaluate and scale the planning tool as the business grows — new modules, workflows, and integrations.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Manage expense budgeting and full P&L reporting across the business, partnering with executive leadership to forecast bookings, revenue, labor, and EBITDA performance.
  • Drive ACV and ARR-based forecasting and performance analysis — evaluating bookings, expansion, churn, and net revenue retention to inform growth strategy.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and variance analysis to senior leadership.
  • Support the annual operating planning process end-to-end.

Business Partnership:

  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to department and functional leaders, translating financial data into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the speed and accuracy of financial analysis, including leveraging AI/automation tools where applicable.
  • Present financial results and insights directly to executive leadership.

What Success Looks Like:

In your first 0–6 months, success looks like:

  • We are leveraging a 3rd party to assist with the Workday Adaptive Planning environment with clean data flows from SFDC and Netsuite and documented processes.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and Board/investor reporting packages are produced on an automated, reliable cadence the CFO and executive team trust.
  • ACV/ARR, bookings, churn, and NRR forecasting is integrated into the planning model and actively used to inform growth strategy discussions.
  • Functional leaders across the business view you as a go-to financial partner, not just a reporting function.

Requirements:

Required

  • 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within a SaaS, subscription, or PE-backed business.
  • Direct, hands-on experience implementing and/or administering Workday Adaptive Planning — this is a must-have, not a nice-to-have; candidates should be able to speak to model design, system data flows, and ongoing ownership, not just report consumption.
  • Demonstrated experience with ACV/ARR/SaaS metrics (bookings, churn, NRR, expansion revenue) and full P&L or expense-vertical ownership.
  • Track record of building scalable reporting infrastructure — e.g., consolidating multi-entity financials into automated, board-ready reporting packages.
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills; comfort working directly with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Self-starter mindset with a bias toward automation, process improvement, and continuous learning.

Preferred

  • Advanced certifications (e.g., HBS Finance & Accounting certificate) a plus.
  • Experience with additional financial systems (e.g., OfficeConnect, NetSuite, Salesforce) and BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Prior progression through a structured financial development or rotational program.
  • Experience navigating a fast-growth or PE-backed environment.
  • Investment Banking background.
