CTC is a cutting-edge proprietary trading firm with a long-term vision and a clear focus on helping the world price and manage risk. Our fun and trusting culture inspires us to solve the industry’s most challenging problems and take calculated risks in a collaborative environment.

We strive to be the most innovative firm in the industry today, tomorrow, and long into the future while upholding ethical excellence. We believe that CTC makes a positive impact on the markets, the lives of our employees, and all the communities to which we belong. Started in 1995 by a team of forward-thinking Traders, we are proud to call ourselves an industry leader that keeps making markets and each other better.

As a Manager in FP&A focused on management reporting and performance narrative, this role owns the design, evolution, and executive interpretation of the firm’s management and leadership reporting. The primary objective is to ensure leaders clearly understand what happened, why it happened, and what it means, enabling informed and timely decisions across the firm.

This role is intentionally designed as a senior individual contributor position. Impact is driven through ownership, judgment, and executive partnership rather than people management. The Reporting Manager partners closely with finance leadership, planning and forecasting owners, and senior business leaders to translate financial performance into clear, leadership ready insight, ensuring management reporting remains a strategic asset as the firm scales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the design, structure, and ongoing evolution of management and executive reporting, ensuring reports clearly communicate results, drivers, risks, and business implications while answering real leadership questions that support decision making.
  • Develop concise, leadership-ready performance narratives and reporting standards for monthly and quarterly reviews, defining what information matters most while translating financial outcomes into actionable insights and strategic guidance.
  • Partner with FP&A Systems, Data, and Analytics teams to ensure reporting designs are supported by scalable and durable infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, redesign, or retire reports as business needs evolve, improving insight density while reducing noise.
  • Support results-focused decision discussions by framing tradeoffs, risks, and options tied to reported results, ensuring leaders clearly understand implications and next steps.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, or related roles, ideally within financial services, proprietary trading, or technology-driven environments
  • Demonstrated success operating as a senior individual contributor with significant ownership and influence
  • Proven experience owning management or executive reporting with strong emphasis on narrative, insight, and decision relevance
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise, leadership-ready messages with strong judgment around materiality, framing, and prioritization
  • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and partner effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with systems, analytics, or automation teams to translate reporting concepts into scalable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, thoughtful, and executive-appropriate style
