About the Role

The FP&A Senior Analyst at Beyond will be part of the corporate FP&A team and provide variance analysis, financial & headcount reporting and modeling support for financial and operational forecasts, business analysis and annual budgeting.  

The FP&A team works cross-functionally with other teams within the organization to consolidate financial information and develop projections and analyses.  Our team works in a fast-paced, collaborative and demanding environment and we are looking for a self-motivated candidate who has a “no excuses / get the job done” mentality.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and skilled at communicating complex financial and accounting concepts to, and developing working relationships with, Executive Leadership and all levels, functions, and operations of the company.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Analyze financial data and trends and create financial reports to support financial models
  • Own and improve current processes for financial reporting, analysis and forecasting
  • Meet with division leads to discuss monthly variances and any organizational changes that may affect financials, including headcount and other operational cost drivers
  • Ad hoc reporting and data generation for general ledger data.
  • Assist in implementing new financial reporting requirements arising from leadership
  • Build financial models in Excel based on historical financial and operating data
  • Provide financial and strategic support to senior management and the owners, including preparing investor presentations, financial presentations, and other projects.
  • Assist FP&A team and the business to track and analyze cash inflows and outflows and identify current and future cash flow risks

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other highly quantitative field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Accounting or Accounting/Finance Professional Services
  • Excellent Excel and data skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, quantitative, and written communication skills required.
  • High standards of accuracy and precision; strong attention to detail; highly organized.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight time constraints, and multi-task on various projects.
  • Desire to learn the operations and strategy, and ability to question the status quo.

Nice to Have

  • CPA license or seeking certification
  • Experience working for a Public Accounting
  • Experience with structured ERP systems (NetSuite, etc.)
  • Knowledge of reporting in BI systems (Looker, etc.) and SQL/database structures

The base annual salary range is listed below. This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus.

Base Salary Range
$100,000$115,000 USD
