We are currently seeking an experienced Fraud Prevention & Cyber Security Solutions Consultant to support the delivery of a managed authentication and risk service offering and related risk management initiatives across Central and Eastern Europe.
This opportunity is ideal for a senior specialist with extensive experience in fraud prevention, cybersecurity, payments, and risk management, who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across multiple markets and contributing to high-impact projects.
SCOPE OF SERVICESAs part of this engagement, you will:
- Collaborate with client and partner teams to support fraud monitoring and prevention initiatives.
- Provide expertise for the implementation, optimization, and ongoing delivery of managed authentication and fraud management services.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute market opportunities related to risk and authentication solutions within the real-time payments ecosystem.
- Engage with clients and partners to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities related to payments risk management.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to promote risk management best practices and support solution adoption.
- Monitor solution performance and usage trends, providing recommendations for optimization and enhancement.
- Support go-to-market initiatives and the development of client-facing materials related to risk and authentication solutions.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to exchange best practices, insights, and lessons learned.
- Analyze emerging fraud trends, cybersecurity developments, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the payments landscape.
- Contribute to the evolution of risk management approaches through data-driven recommendations and industry expertise.
- Bachelor's or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10–12+ years of experience in fraud prevention, cybersecurity, risk management, payments, financial services, or related domains.
- Experience within the real-time payments (RTP) ecosystem, including transaction fraud controls, platform development, fraud operations, ecosystem optimization, or risk solution deployment.
- Strong understanding of the retail fraud landscape affecting financial institutions across multiple payment types.
- Experience supporting the launch, adoption, or optimization of risk management and authentication solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Technology functions.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within complex and fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or equivalent frameworks.
- Understanding of cybersecurity technologies and controls, including:
- SIEM platforms
- Firewalls
- IDS/IPS solutions
- Endpoint protection technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Knowledge of payment security, risk, and authentication solutions used in the financial services industry.
- Experience with managed authentication and risk services.
- Familiarity with real-time payment fraud management platforms and tools.
- Product management experience related to risk, fraud, payments, or financial technology solutions.
- Professional certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CISM
- CEH
- Other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate market trends and business requirements into practical risk management solutions.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on delivery experience.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing capabilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business, technology, and regulatory environments.
- Interest in payments innovation, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
