Barstool Sports is seeking a Freelance Producer focused on a multitude of Chicago based brands. The ideal candidate will be hands-on at every step of the production process for multiple concurrent projects. This role relies on proficiency in editing with Adobe Premiere, technical skills shooting with Sony cameras, and a keen eye for detail. You must be able to work on-site in Chicago, open to working nights and weekends, and provide a reel or portfolio of work.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for pre & post-production as well as the delivery of a multitude of shows, videos, podcasts, and social clips
  • Work on various types of productions ranging from podcasts, studio shows, run-and-gun content, vlogs, interviews, Man/Women on the street, and more.
  • Work directly with other production staff in the Chicago office

What You Have:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Chicago based content such as, but not limited to, Barstool Chicago, The Yak, Chef & Donny Cooking Content
  • Strong experience shooting & editing content for digital platforms.
  • The ability to craft a compelling narrative that aligns with our brand ethos.
  • Knowledge about Barstool Sports and our content.
  • Sense of urgency and knowledge of production timelines
  • Background in shooting
  • Organizational and collaborative skills, as well as an ability to prioritize, are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel for shoots and productions, as needed.
  • An up-to-date production reel showcasing your work.
