As a Frontend & Mobile Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work as an AI-native developer—someone who understands how to harness agentic AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex problems faster. This isn't about replacing craftsmanship with automation; it's about amplifying your capabilities while maintaining full ownership and accountability for what you build.

You'll work on both our React-based web application and React Native mobile applications, collaborating directly with product management, designers, and the broader engineering team to deliver polished, performant, and privacy-first interfaces that meet the high standards our users expect and deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using React.
• Build and optimize mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Leverage agentic AI coding tools throughout the development lifecycle to accelerate implementation, improve code quality, and solve complex problems while maintaining full ownership and accountability for all deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into polished, high-quality user experiences.
• Integrate frontend and mobile apps with backend services via REST APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code with a focus on performance and modern web and mobile optimization techniques.
• Debug and troubleshoot software defects, providing timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and uphold software engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing customer-facing web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and React Native.
• Experience with state management libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Fluency with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong command of CSS.
• Experience using agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Kiro, or Github Copilot.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Expo, including managed workflow, build pipelines, and deployment; experience with an ejected Expo workflow is a plus.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration tools that enable parallel agent workflows and task delegation.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate AI-generated code critically, identifying potential security vulnerabilities, performance issues, or architectural concerns that automated tools might miss.
• Experience establishing best practices and guardrails for AI-assisted development within team environments, including code review standards for AI-generated code.
• Experience with OAuth authentication flows.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Experience profiling, debugging, and optimizing app performance.
• Knowledge of native iOS/Android development.
• Experience with TanStack libraries, particularly TanStack Query.
• Familiarity with the Axios library.
• Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and data protection practices.
• Experience testing mobile applications using Appium, XCUITest, UIAutomator2, or Espresso.
• Full-stack development experience.
