Great American’s Executive Liability Division is committed to serving its customers with industry-leading expertise and quality management liability products. Our experienced team of underwriters, claims attorneys and marketing professionals work hand-in-hand to deliver effective solutions for public, private and nonprofit clients.

The Executive Liability Division is looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to join their team. We follow a hybrid schedule - address 1475 Woodfield Road - Schaumburg, IL 60173 - free parking

The ideal candidate should have experience in .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like Angular. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The candidate should also have experience in developing web applications and be familiar with the latest web development technologies. Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML solutions into applications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design, develop, test, document and maintain application programs.
  • Develop and optimize APIs, microservices, and backend logic.
  • Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

  

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency in .NET and C#.
  • Working experience of front-end frameworks like Angular.         
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., MVC, Singleton, Factory, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range:

$100,000.00 -$115,000.00
