Position Summary:

This position utilizes excellent customer service and problem solving skills to confidently provide information and education to our customers in a timely, efficient, professional manner; provides clear and accurate responses to customer questions primarily through inbound phone calls; appropriately researches and resolves problems relating to customer accounts and inquiries; meets established performance expectations; develops a comprehensive operational understanding of the financial services industry; proactively learns and remains up-to-date with the Company’s products and services.

Role Differentiators:

Support Futures clients in the way of futures transactions services, platform education, trade placement, updating expiring positions, margin and risk-related inquiries, buying power and balances reviews, and trade inquiries.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and informative answers via phone calls to clients and internal partners
  • Assist clients with futures options order execution, margin treatment, and risk related inquiries
  • Provides updates regarding expiring positions and margin calls
  • Work in tandem with the Futures Risk Team to address client issues, requests for information, or any regulatory requirements
  • Provide operational support in the way of account opening and information gathering
  • Effectively communicate ETRADE (ET) policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, as they relate to various client scenarios
  • Manage daily volume of inbound calls and inquiries submitted via Teams channels

Basic Qualifications:

  • Registrations (required for role): Series 3, Ability to obtain Mass Registration
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of customer-facing, futures-focused brokerage experience with significant acumen regarding the trading of futures and futures options, margin treatment, and risk management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the securities industry and regulations with a particular emphasis on derivatives trading
  • Understanding of futures execution, trading procedures, and pricing
  • Working knowledge of futures products, margin requirements, and trade processing
  • Proven background in trading-focused role with extensive knowledge of margin treatment and risk management
  • Ability to work independently and utilize decision-making skills to address and resolve client issues
  • Strong work ethic, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and team orientation
  • Heightened sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

For Illinois:

Salary range for the position: $58,000.00 and $115,000.00 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
