The General Manager of Fulfillment oversees all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, shipping, receiving, and workforce leadership. This role ensures operational excellence, scalability, and cost efficiency while maintaining a customer-first focus and upholding the company’s core values. This position will report to the Senior Director, Fulfillment.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily operations of the fulfillment center and ensure timely and accurate order processing and shipping.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage fulfillment budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse and fulfillment teams, including supervisors and front-line staff.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Data/Science, CX, Finance, and Digital.
  • Drive process improvements to optimize inventory management and reduce fulfillment costs.
  • Manage staffing and fulfillment needs based on KPIs in conjunction with forecasting, and manage flex during peak periods (e.g., holiday season, promotions).
  • Conduct internal process audits and root cause analysis to improve accuracy and throughput.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment operations, with at least 3 years in a salaried leadership role.
  • Proven success managing high-volume order fulfillment in e-commerce and/or retail environments.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and labor management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and improve operational KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, on-time shipping, cost per shipment).
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills; able to make metrics-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and G-Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
  • Occasional travel between facilities or to vendor sites may be required.
  • Bonus points if you're bilingual in Spanish

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with fluctuating and extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, or holidays as required during peak seasons.
