The General Production Intern will assist producers in various production tasks, support content creation for live events and podcasts, and maintain production operations.
Barstool Sports is seeking a General Production Intern to join our growing Production team for the summer. This role provides hands-on experience across various aspects of production, assisting on multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll work closely with producers, contribute to content creation, and gain firsthand experience in live events, studio shows, podcasts, and more. This internship runs from May 26 to August 30 and is based 100% in our Chicago office.
What You'll Do- Work alongside and shadow Producers on new and existing Barstool Sports productions.
- Assist with edits and the creation of social clips, ensuring engaging and timely content.
- Serve as a runner where needed to support on-location shoots.
- Help set up and break down sets/shoots, ensuring smooth production operations.
- Support various types of productions, including live events, studio shows, run-and-gun content, interviews, and podcasts.
- A strong familiarity with Barstool Sports content and its unique brand voice.
- A passion for storytelling and the ability to craft compelling narratives that align with our brand ethos.
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- An up-to-date production reel showcasing your work.
Pay Rate: $16.60/hr
