Why City Auto Group:

City Auto Group is growing and growing fast! Established in 2019, owner Anthony Scala is a first-generation car dealer who is looking for go-getters that have a team mentality but take great pride in their individual effort and production.  A positive attitude, being coachable and a relentless work ethic over a decorated resume is who we are looking for! We offer industry leading compensation along with flex work week, 2 weeks paid vacation, health/401k match and, candidly, an awesome work environment!  We are not your typical car dealership.

Position Overview:

As the General Sales Manager of City Volkswagen of Evanston, the expectation is to, first and foremost, provide a safe and comfortable work environment. If we can’t do that, we have no business being in business.  Second, you are expected to lead from the front by example rather than by words. We believe true leadership is seen rather than heard. Third, production matters…it really matters.  We are a highly competitive group with an expectation of winning. We believe winning begins with extreme product knowledge, looking the part, and an enthusiasm for the product, as well as the ability to provide a completely unique experience.

Qualities of a Successful City Auto Group Manager

  • Coachable with the ability to coach
  • Actions trump words, every time
  • Secure and confident in abilities with a growth mindset. Must be willing to sacrifice for the team to win
  • Commitment to personal and professional excellence
  • Silent accountability
  • Highly competitive

What We Offer:

  • Expected $180,000 + total annual earnings
  • Full healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision)
  • Company vehicle
  • 401K with company contribution
  • Paid time off
  • Ongoing professional training, leadership development, and OEM certification
  • A highly regarded dealership with a strong customer base and significant growth potential
