Description

We are excited for this rare opportunity to add a BMW Genius to join our team. Bill Jacobs BMW has been the #1 dealer in the entire Central Region for BMW the past 4 years, winning the coveted Center of Excellence Award 3 years in a row. The BMW Genius will provide comprehensive product information to our customers throughout the sales process. The Genius is the primary contact for clients to learn about BMW, BMW heritage, and BMW products and technology.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for BMW automobiles and a desire to advance to our lucrative Client Advisor role.  


What you'll be doing

You will start out in our comprehensive training program to teach you everything you need to know to become a BMW Genius. You will master the complexities of the product to familiarize clients with the value, and usability of BMW products and features. You will logically and eloquently present information and explain how to use the various features of a BMW, including technology in the vehicles. You will follow-up with new owners to ensure delivery satisfaction.

Requirements

Must-haves:

  • 1+ years of retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience or equivalent
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of customers in a fast-paced, technical, and product-driven environment.
  • Refined verbal communication skills and the ability to speak with customers in a logical, professional, and effective manner.
  • Exquisite attention to detail in maintaining a professional appearance and image.
  • Proficiency in effectively using and communicating with new media (tablets, social media, etc.).
  • A willingness to go the extra mile, conveying enthusiasm and excitement whenever you're on the job.   
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability standards.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in the retail environment is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles a plus.
