As an Enterprise Account Executive in Databricks' Sports vertical, you are a data-driven sales professional experienced in selling to enterprise-level sports teams, leagues, and related organizations. You excel at demonstrating how Databricks' innovative data and AI solutions can revolutionize the sports industry through customer vision expansion and compressed decision cycles. Your passion lies in deeply understanding both Databricks' products and the unique challenges faced by sports organizations, effectively communicating the value of data-driven insights to enhance performance, fan engagement, and business operations.You will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales, focusing on the sports vertical within Databricks.


The impact you will have: 

  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting high-value accounts in the sports industry

  • Guide deals forward by aligning Databricks' solutions with the strategic goals of sports organizations

  • Collaborate with System Integrators to create comprehensive solutions for complex client needs

  • Identify and secure new enterprise accounts within the sports vertical

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing sports clients

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Databricks and sports organizations

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, with opportunities for accelerators above 100% quota attainment

  • Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue potential within the sports vertical

  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

What we look for:

  • Proven track record in enterprise software sales, preferably with experience in the sports industry

  • Strong understanding of data analytics, AI, and cloud technologies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strategic thinking and ability to align technology solutions with business objectives

  • Passion for sports and deep understanding of the industry's technological needs

  • Experience with CRM systems and enterprise sales methodologies

 



Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
