Cadence is seeking a senior sales leader for a major global account to drive focused and collaborative sales engagements. This is an excellent opportunity to help drive revenue and market share for Cadence EDA, Design Services, HW, and IP portfolios while building a deeper collaboration between Cadence and the defined account globally.
Responsibilities:
- Define a clear account strategy, and execute account plans with a global technical sales team.
- Identify partnership areas to drive sales with consistent YoY growth.
- Drive deep collaborations to gain revenue and market share for Cadence EDA, Design Services, HW, and IP portfolio.
- Hands-on account management, actively engaged in winning market share and securing large deals.
- Build senior client relationships and become a “trusted advisor” to C-level customers.
- Demonstrate the value of the Cadence solutions, negotiate, and close complex contracts.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and exceed quarterly and annual bookings and revenue targets.
- Present strategic account plans, forecasts, and business requests to senior-level and executive-level management internally.
- Set priorities and coordinate resources across Cadence business units, including Application Eng, Product Eng, R&D
Requirements:
- BS, EE preferred or related field with 10 years + of successful, relevant account management experience with a history of closing of complex multimillion-dollar contracts and a track record of exceeding quota.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual business bookings targets.
- Able to drive cross-functional collaboration through a holistic, assertive, collaborative style of sales leadership.
- Technically confident in the articulation and positioning of Cadence solutions, both internally & externally.
- Experience in selling complex EDA/SDA deals to major strategic accounts in the semiconductor industry.
- Must have the ability to call high level Executive/Engineering Management to help drive complex sales campaigns with multiple decision-makers and influencers across the customer organization.
- Deep understanding of SoC design processes relevant to the customer ecosystem.
- Proven track record of leading a team in identifying and understanding customer pain points and mapping them to solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete sales process, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with engineering and financial staff at all levels.
- Ideally based in the Silicon Valley or San Diego area, but open to Austin location as well.
