Position Overview:  

The Corporate Team is looking for a Global Finance Systems Analyst to perform key responsibilities assisting with the oversight of Brunswick’s enterprise-wide global financial reporting systems within the Oracle EPM suite. This position will be a key contributor to the team’s success and will have a wide range of responsibilities integral to the Corporate Team, reporting to the Manager of Financial Systems.

Essential Functions:  

  • Partner with the Financial System Manager in managing enterprise-wide Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) application administration support. Maintain and configure consistent setup, deployment, architecture, data, rules, and access. 

  • Provide critical assistance during close and planning processes, in making sure all EPM Application and interfaces are running per schedule Assist in assessing current processes and identifying improvements, test, and applying them to production.

  • Interface with the different cross-functional teams during close process, Budget/Forecast process and projects to better understand their business requirements to document the functional and technical requirements.

  • Work side by side with manager to identify future improvements to the different EPM applications supported by the team to further enhance processes, usage, and full functionality for the business users. 

  • Assist with all updates, modifications, security, data uploads, metadata updates, and interfaces with Oracle Cloud updates and patches. Work cross functionally with Finance, Accounting, and IT, for all end-user requests and the impact on the application.

  • Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, IT and end-users to provide a stable platform for monthly and quarterly reporting cycles as required. Support maintaining all associated documentation. 

  • Supports corporate-wide users on day-to-day reporting and system issues. 

  • Provide primary support in the development, testing, and maintenance of reports, dashboards, integrations, Smart View Reports, and/or ad-hoc queries requested by users, and other tools as required.

  • Provide User training as necessary.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.  

Required Qualifications:   

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Business Information Systems, or Accounting 

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, financial systems, or systems interfacing with Finance field or development experience in Oracle EPM and SQL  

  • 2+ years of experience in a role with demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse groups of people inside and outside of the business  

  • 2+ years of experience in finance or related field as an analyst with experience in system configuration, reporting, and integrations   

  • Proven ability to manage time and multiple priorities in a fast paced, demanding environment 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Proven process Improvement skills 

  • Positive attitude 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Masters degree in Business or IT 

  • Oracle EPM Certification 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an administrator of EPBCS 

The anticipated pay range for this position is $76,300-110,000 annually.  The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.  In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. 

 

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
