Job Description SummaryGlobal Marketing Communications fosters purchase intent and retention by developing an external communications strategy with differentiating, engaging content for customers across their journey by persona and region. The role is responsible for developing messaging and testing it to ensure resonance. Focus areas are new product introductions, digital marketing, content marketing, collateral creation, advertising and exhibits/event support. This person develops and implements creative tools/techniques enabling sales execution and market acceptance of new products and business initiatives. They work closely with global and regional marketing and product management leaders to contribute to and execute Marketing Communication strategies for key products, regions and/or program. Emphasis is placed on measuring their business impact and effectiveness.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Marketing Communications plan implementation. Manage outside vendors and budget. Track progress of programs and report results to marketing. Tie programs to key business metrics. Uses some judgement to propose new innovative approaches.

  • Develops and manages content and creative for distribution across on and offline channels.

  • Continually evaluate processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force.

  • Collaborate with peers to help ensure consistency of approach and integration of best practices.

  • Integrate GE Public Relations and Internal Communications into planning as appropriate.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate branding.

  • Experience working in a regulated industry and ability to align closely with finance, regulatory and legal to ensure compliance.

  • GEHC ONLY - Develops and manages content and creative for distribution across on and off line channels

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience to develop engaging, innovative and creative content addressing complex challenges that drive customer behavior, brand preference and customer retention.

  • Ability to work across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; clearly communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner; ability to deliver messaging effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Experience in managing a Marcom budget, soliciting vendor proposals and cost estimates, and tracking and managing costs with vendors.

  • Experience in developing digital platforms & organizing online events; paid and organic social media communications including monitoring success with KPIs.

  • Experience with photo/video shoots, planning and editing

  • Project management skills. 

  • Balance of technical and marketing knowledge and skills.

  • Experience working in and navigating a matrixed environment.

  • English fluency in both written and verbal communications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 6+ years’ experience in advertising or marketing

  • 8+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising or in digital marketing

  • Knowledge of office, marketing automation, technical and digital tools, such as Microsoft Office, Marketo, Sitecore or AEM, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Widen, and content management platforms

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $100,800.00-$151,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
