Manage government agency accounts focusing on sales growth and customer satisfaction. Develop relationships, execute sales plans, and provide training on product features.
Current Associates are not eligible for Retention or Sign On Bonuses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage existing government agencies with a significant emphasis to driving increased sales penetration to new and existing ship-to locations
- Tactical management with the ability to execute sales plans in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois Metro territory
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through regular customer contact and problem resolution
- Meet or exceed sales and net profit goals for government agencies at either the Master and/or Ship-to level
- Develop customer relationships through regular customer contact in person and over the phone
- Establish new ship to locations within the agencies that you control
- Consultative approach to reviewing customer purchases, monitor critical customer metrics and recommend purchase saving opportunities through regular account reviews
- Provide training to customers on internet features and functionality
Qualifications:
Basic:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 or more years selling experience within Federal agencies
- Proven business development ability
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated experience working with customers with a consultative sales approach
- Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
- Computer Literacy (including internet)
- 30-40% travel, some may be international
