OverviewWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support our Hardgoods & Home team. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across product development, packaging, and visual design within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Program Details
Duration: 6 months (full-time, 40 hours/week)
Location: Chicago, IL
Hourly Rate: $16.60
- Support the design and development of graphics for hardgoods and home products, including packaging, labeling, and product artwork
- Assist in creating presentation materials for internal and customer-facing meetings
- Develop concept boards, trend research, and visual inspiration aligned with seasonal direction
- Prepare and update technical artwork files for production (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop)
- Partner with cross-functional teams including design, product development, and merchandising
- Ensure all artwork aligns with brand guidelines and customer requirements
- Assist with sample reviews and revisions as needed
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Fashion, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus)
- Interest in home products, hardgoods, and packaging design
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
