Job Summary & Responsibilities

Primary function

The Healthcare Growth Development Representative creates qualified pipeline across clinics, ambulatory groups, hospitals, and health systems. As part of Revenue Marketing, this role connects healthcare business and technology changes to relevant Access conversations, qualifies inbound interest, develops assigned accounts, and prepares Sales to advance the opportunity. The representative adapts outreach to the organization’s size, buying process, and information needs.

Develop opportunities for Access Unify | Health and records and information management services. Recognize the difference between legacy EHR archiving, patient information access across systems, and physical records needs such as storage, retrieval, digitization, and disposition.

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Research EHR replacements, legacy application retirement, acquisitions, health-system consolidation, facility changes, and records access challenges. Map IT, health information management, clinical informatics, compliance, operations, and financial stakeholders.

· Prioritize assigned accounts and contacts using campaign context, verified market signals, and CRM history. Coordinate outreach with the account owner and follow agreed territory and account coverage plans.

· Execute thoughtful outreach through phone, email, and approved professional social channels. Tailor the reason for contact to the buyer, follow through consistently, and support event and campaign follow-up.

· Respond to assigned inbound inquiries within the established one-hour response standard during assigned coverage. Qualify and route inquiries promptly, and maintain agreed coverage and escalation procedures.

· Clarify the EHR or records environment, information access problem, affected teams, project timing, and decision process. Identify whether the need centers on legacy data archiving, access to patient history, or physical records services, then involve the appropriate specialist.

· Secure a relevant next conversation and document the problem, business impact, stakeholders, timing, open questions, and agreed next step. Confirm the Sales handoff and follow up on meeting attendance and acceptance.

Execution and collaboration

· Maintain accurate Salesforce records, activity, campaign context, dispositions, ownership, and dated next actions. Record qualification evidence so another team member can continue the conversation.

· Maintain purposeful nurture for accounts that are a fit but are not ready to advance. Coordinate re-engagement and stakeholder outreach with Sales on existing opportunities and client accounts.

· Share recurring buyer questions, objections, and response patterns with Marketing, Sales, and product specialists. Participate in call coaching and test improvements to targeting, messaging, and follow-up.

· Use approved research, calling, sales engagement, and AI tools responsibly. Verify contact details and drafted content, honor contact preferences, and protect confidential information.

Required qualifications

· Experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or another role involving proactive outreach and qualification of business needs.

· Clear phone and written communication, active listening, and the ability to ask useful questions and handle early objections with professionalism.

· Strong organization, research skills, follow-through, and CRM discipline; ability to manage competing priorities and apply coaching.

· Ability to learn healthcare buying roles and explain information access, legacy-system retirement, and records management needs in clear business language.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in healthcare business development, health IT, EHR or clinical-data services, health information management, or sales to healthcare organizations. Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Five9, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or comparable tools is helpful. Evidence of converting outreach into held meetings and Sales-accepted opportunities is valued.

Measures of success

Primary measures are qualified meetings held, Sales acceptance, conversion to opportunities, and sourced pipeline. Account coverage, inbound response, CRM completeness, and follow-up quality help explain performance. Activity volume supports coaching and execution management; success depends on the quality and commercial progress of the conversations created.

Targets are established by management for the assigned territory, market, and stage of ramp. Contributions to existing opportunities are tracked separately from newly sourced pipeline.
