Numeral is transforming how taxes get done. Digital businesses are currently bogged down by a painful web of regulations across 47 states and 50+ countries. We’re eliminating this burden so teams can focus on their core mission.
We’re the largest and fastest growing AI-native tax solution. Started in 2023, Numeral has raised over $57M from Benchmark, Mayfield, Y-Combinator, and many others. We now serve over 2,500 paying customers and have more than tripled our revenue every year in our history.
We’re primarily hiring in our SF and NY offices, but do hire remotely in some cases
As a Growth team member at Numeral, you’ll operate at the intersection of experimentation and execution, owning projects across paid media, ABM, content and creator partnerships, website optimization, lifecycle marketing, and whatever new channels we decide to test next.
You won’t be confined to a single motion. One month, you might be launching and optimizing paid campaigns. The next, partnering with creators or building new acquisition funnels.
This role is for someone who loves ambiguity, moves quickly from idea to execution, and thinks in terms of measurable impact.
Launch & scale new growth channels: Identify, test, and validate new customer acquisition channels, then build repeatable systems around what works.
Co-own paid acquisition: Launch, test, and optimize paid media campaigns across channels with a focus on CAC, pipeline, and revenue impact.
Build & enrich the TAM: Define, expand, and continuously refine our total addressable market through data sourcing, enrichment tools, segmentation, and ICP iteration.
Develop creator & content partnerships: Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with content creators and partners.
Optimize website & conversion funnels: Continuously improve core website pages, landing pages, and funnel flows through testing and CRO experimentation.
Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with sales and product to align messaging and turn customer insights into growth initiatives.
Stand-up new market segments: Help Numeral go from 0 to 1 in entirely new segments, beyond ecommerce or SaaS.
2–8 years in growth, marketing, or a founder/operator role, ideally in a high-velocity startup environment.
Proven track record of driving measurable acquisition impact.
Hands-on experience with paid media (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) and comfort managing budgets and performance metrics.
Strong analytical skills—comfortable in spreadsheets, dashboards, and attribution models.
Familiarity with ABM or targeted outbound motions.
Experience building, segmenting, or enriching TAM datasets.
Clear, persuasive communicator—strong writing skills across ads, landing pages, emails, and positioning.
Comfort with ambiguity—you don’t need a playbook; you build one.
High ownership mentality—you operate like a founder.
Bias toward action—you ship fast, iterate quickly.
Curiosity about AI tools and automation.
Startup mindset: Not scared of ambiguity and hungry for rapid growth
Intensity & Ownership: This is not a 9-5 — we’re scaling rapidly and have a massive opportunity ahead of us.
Customer Obsession: You deeply care about the user experience and solving their problems
