Company Description

Join an entrepreneurial and innovative team at Liberty, a Resultant Company, where we solve the most complex problems in the M&A market quickly and completely. As a member of our fast-paced team, you won’t just be a consultant; you’ll be a strategic advisor and an execution partner for Private Equity firms, investment banks, and Fortune 500 companies.

We provide complete, senior-led teams that support the entire merger and acquisition lifecycle—from identifying value during pre-close diligence to realizing that value through post-close technology and data execution.

Our Culture: Agency and Collaboration

  • Solve What You See: We thrive in an environment where team members are encouraged to take the initiative and solve the problems they see.

  • High-Stakes, High-Speed: We operate in a fast-paced environment that demands "operator-savvy" thinking and an unbiased perspective.

  • Proven Excellence: We are proud to be recognized by Fortune and Crain’s Chicago Business as a Best Place to Work.

Job Description

What You’ll Do (First 12 Months)

  • Begin owning select client relationships.

What You’ll Own (12–18 Months)

  • Revenue growth and forecasting for the GTM Advisory practice.

  • Strong financial acumen and comfort discussing value creation in EBITDA terms.

Critical Traits

  • Builder mindset — energized by creating structure where none exists.
  • Commercial instinct — understands how advisory firms make money.
  • Structured thinker — strong frameworks, synthesis, executive communication.
  • Executive presence — credible with PE partners and C-suite.
  • Hungry for ownership — wants to run something.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a pure delivery role.
  • Not a back-office RevOps job.
  • Not a purely academic strategy role.

Additional Information

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Performance-based bonus tied to practice growth.
  • Clear compensation expansion tied to P&L ownership.
  • Long-term incentive structure aligned with practice performance.

Other:

  • All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
  • All communication regarding your application status will come from a Resultant.com, SmartRecruiters.com or Libertyadvisorgroup.com email domain. We will not call you without a pre-arranged interview being scheduled.

We embrace AI across everything we do, and that includes how you prepare for this interview. Feel free to use AI tools to research the role, practice your responses, and put your best foot forward. What matters to us is getting to know the real you — how you think, how you communicate, and what you genuinely bring to the table.
