Reporting to the Head of Client Marketing, this role will develop a best-in-class curriculum of programs, experiences, and content that helps advisors expand their knowledge, strengthen their practices, and better serve clients. The leader’s goal is to deepen engagement with client-facing teams, strengthen advisor relationships, and enhance the perceived value of NTAM’s advisor education offering.

This role partners closely with the Wealth Client Group (WCG) distribution team leaders, internal and external subject matter experts, and marketing partners to define effective strategies, translate those strategies into compelling curriculum, and deliver engaging advisor- and client-facing experiences and materials.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Deep advisor education expertise, including knowledge of continuing education requirements
  • A strong understanding of the role advisor education plays in distribution strategy
  • Deep knowledge of advisor practice management and the challenges advisors face in growing their business
  • A nuanced understanding of advisor needs, engagement preferences, and content consumption behaviors
  • Current knowledge of how advisor education is evolving, with a strong grasp of asset management best practices in this area
  • The ability to operate with strategic vision and executional rigor across a matrixed organization

Key Responsibilities

Program Strategy & Design

  • Develop and lead NTAM’s advisor engagement program strategy, ensuring alignment with distribution priorities and business objectives

  • Create a scalable delivery model that supports the firm through self-serve digital resources, enables wholesaler-led engagement, and provides customized experiences for key audiences

Content Development & Distribution

  • Develop advisor- and client-facing program components across digital, print, and in-person formats based on program and experiential requirements
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop content that translates technical concepts into clear, compelling, advisor-relevant education
  • Work closely with digital marketing partners to build a dedicated platform hub that drives awareness, following, and engagement among target advisors

Field Enablement & Distribution Partnership

  • Serve as the marketing partner to Advisor Distribution leadership, equipping wholesalers with tools and resources that support consultative client conversations
  • Develop segment-specific approaches (e.g., RIA growth-stage vs. established wirehouse practices) in close coordination with the field

Measurement & Stakeholder Reporting

  • Establish a reporting cadence to share initiative performance with marketing and sales leadership, using insights to refine program priorities, channel mix, and delivery approach over time
  • Define KPIs to measure performance, including CE completions, event participation, content consumption by segment, engagement quality, and pipeline influence

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in asset management marketing, with meaningful experience in advisor education strategy and content creation
  • Deep familiarity with how advisors across RIA, wirehouse, and broker-dealer segments consume content and engage with asset manager education, events, and practice support
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi-format learning experiences at scale, including webinar series, in-person event materials, and self-serve digital resources
  • Superior content strategy skills and editorial judgment, with the ability to assess advisor needs and guide the creation of high-quality marketing assets
  • Ability to understand investment solutions and translate technical concepts into effective program content
  • Collaborative working style, with the ability to influence across Sales, Investments, Product, Compliance, and Marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and comfort presenting to senior internal and external audiences
  • A “make it happen” attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environment while engaging confidently with senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CE-accredited programming and working knowledge of FINRA/CFP CE requirements
  • Experience presenting advisor education programs to advisor audiences; relevant licensing or credentials that support CE delivery and establish credibility are a plus
