About the Role:

The AI Solutions team takes high-value internal AI opportunities from request to production. It works with functional leaders and subject-matter experts to scope, build, and hand off solutions the business can operate and improve.

Reporting to the Chief AI Officer, the Head of AI Solutions will build and lead a deeply technical team that owns how central build capacity is allocated across the company and is accountable for intake, prioritization, staffing, and delivery.

The right person can hold the line on sequencing with senior leaders and go deep enough to challenge architecture, implementation, evaluation, and production readiness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and lead the team. Hire, develop, and lead AI solutions engineers, data engineers, and AI product talent. Set clear expectations for technical quality, delivery, and accountability.
  • Own intake and prioritization. Run a transparent process that evaluates business value, feasibility, risk, and reuse. Decide what receives central support, sequence the portfolio, and communicate decisions clearly.
  • Turn requests into build plans. Lead discovery with business and technical teams. Define the solution architecture, scope, success measures, dependencies, and credible effort estimates.
  • Staff and lead virtual build pods. Allocate engineering, data, and product capacity across concurrent initiatives. Secure the right support from the function, IT, AI Platform, Architecture, Privacy, and Security, then remove delivery blockers.
  • Set the technical bar. Review critical architectures, implementation approaches, evaluations, and production-readiness decisions. Ensure solutions meet shared standards for security, privacy, reliability, observability, cost, and human oversight.
  • Deliver, hand off, and reuse what works. Deliver against the agreed scope, complete a clean handoff, and review value after launch. The sponsoring function owns rollout, operation, and continued improvement. Turn recurring needs into reusable solution patterns, evaluation assets, and delivery playbooks, and feed platform gaps back to AI Platform and Architecture.

What You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years designing, building, or deploying production systems, including 3+ years leading technical teams. You remain close enough to the work to review architecture, implementation plans, evaluations, and key technical decisions.
  • A record of taking LLM-based or agentic solutions from discovery through production, with direct involvement in architecture, integration, deployment, evaluation, and operational readiness.
  • Experience leading a solutions architecture, applied AI, engineering, platform, or shared-services team serving multiple business units, with responsibility for prioritization and capacity allocation.
  • Strong technical scoping and estimation. You can turn an ambiguous request into a credible build plan and separate real blockers from manageable complexity.
  • Working knowledge of agent and tool orchestration, prompt and context design, guardrails, evaluation, data modeling, APIs, identity, and cloud or hybrid deployment.
  • Experience hiring and developing senior AI, engineering, data, and product talent, along with strong executive judgment and communication.

Bonus Points:

  • You have built or led an internal FDE, solutions architecture, applied AI, or enterprise AI delivery organization.
  • You have created validated designs or reference architectures spanning AI models, data, infrastructure, security, and enterprise systems.
  • You have delivered agentic AI for cybersecurity or another high-consequence operational environment.
  • You have deployed AI across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments.
