Your mission

Serve as the CEO's strategic partner, leading the Finance function while driving insights and decisions that accelerate CoinTracker's growth and long-term success.

Your one-year outcomes
  • Strategic partnership with the CEO. You proactively surface insights, challenge assumptions, and bring strategic options the company wasn't considering. Decision quality improves as a result.

  • Clear view of growth levers. Partnership economics, pricing, channel performance, and customer unit economics are well-understood and actively used to drive strategy.

  • Smooth finance operations. Forecasting, board reporting, and financial planning happen on time and at high quality.

What you will do
  • Partner with the CEO on company strategy, capital allocation, and key business decisions.

  • Own financial planning, forecasting, and board/investor reporting.

  • Drive strategic analysis on partnerships, pricing, market opportunities, and M&A.

  • Lead and develop a small finance team (Strategic Finance, Controller).

  • Push into adjacent areas (data, growth analytics, market analysis) where finance perspective adds leverage.

  • Build the analytical foundation for understanding unit economics, cohort performance, and growth drivers.

    • Excellent executive communication; board-ready.

    • Experience managing a small team.

    • Proactive, strategic thinker who brings insights without being asked.

    • Comfortable with ambiguity and structuring messy problems.

  • Nice to haves

    • IB/PE background followed by operating experience.

    • Experience at a crypto company or has personal meaningful involvement in crypto on the side.

    • Background in consumer subscription or B2B SaaS.

The starting salary for this position is between $240,000 - $280,000 USD. Candidate's location does not impact the posted salary range. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
