The Head of Global Industry and Solutions Strategy serves as a strategic overlay to the sales organization, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, prospects, and internal teams worldwide. With deep expertise in warehouse operations, automation, and supply chain strategy, this leader partners closely with Account Executives, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to shape global solution strategies, align customer challenges to Locus capabilities, and build executive-level trust throughout the sales cycle.

Location: U.S. Remote

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams to drive strategic opportunities by providing industry insight and solution strategy expertise across global markets.
  • Lead consultative discussions with customer executives, operations leaders, and technical stakeholders to uncover business challenges and connect them to Locus solutions.
  • Define solution approaches that address customer requirements and demonstrate measurable operational and business impact.
  • Apply a broad understanding of warehouse operations - including processes, workflows, and automation - to develop recommendations that optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to validate solution feasibility, scalability, and ROI.
  • Develop tailored presentations, business cases, and executive-ready narratives that clearly communicate the value of Locus solutions.
  • Serve as a thought leader in warehouse automation and operations, maintaining awareness of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive technologies.
  • Enable and mentor global sales teams on industry use cases, value drivers, and consultative selling best practices.
  • Represent Locus Robotics at industry events, trade shows, and customer workshops as a global subject matter expert.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product to shape go-to-market messaging and content aligned with industry solution strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations, automation, robotics, material handling, or supply chain solutions, with global exposure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehousing and fulfillment processes - including design, operations, and automation technologies - and how they impact business performance.
  • Proven success in a consultative sales, solutions strategy, or pre-sales leadership role.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and build trusted advisor relationships at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience collaborating across global sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Global Travel: 30 - 40%
