Job Summary

The Head of Investor Relations (IR) will lead the company’s investor relations program for a publicly traded, global med tech organization with approximately $1.3B in annual revenue. Reporting directly to the SVP of Corporate Finance, this role is responsible for shaping and executing a clear, credible, and consistent investor narrative that reflects the company’s strategy, financial performance, and long term value creation.

This role requires a strong foundation in investment banking, ideally with med tech or healthcare sector coverage, and the ability to operate with confidence in a highly visible, regulated, and performance driven public company environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Investor Relations Strategy & Public Company Communications

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company’s business strategy, financial objectives, and capital markets priorities.
  • Own the company’s external investment narrative, ensuring consistency across earnings materials, investor presentations, public disclosures, and executive messaging.
  • Partner closely with the CFO and CEO to prepare earnings call scripts, Q&A, analyst day materials, and investor presentations.

Earnings, Disclosure & Regulatory Compliance

  • Lead preparation of quarterly and annual earnings materials, including press releases, slide decks, scripts, FAQs, and investor website content.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with SEC regulations, Reg FD, and other public company disclosure requirements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and External Communications to support 10‑K, 10‑Q, proxy, and other required disclosures from an investor relations perspective.

Investor, Analyst & Market Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for institutional investors, sell‑side analysts, and rating agencies.
  • Coordinate and participate in earnings calls, investor conferences, non‑deal roadshows, and one‑on‑one investor meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with the investment community, ensuring transparency and credibility.

Market Intelligence & Executive Advisory

  • Monitor investor sentiment, analyst coverage, peer performance, valuation trends, and broader med‑tech capital markets dynamics.
  • Synthesize market feedback and provide actionable insights to the CFO and executive leadership team.
  • Support strategic initiatives including capital allocation decisions, M&A communications, and long‑term financial targets.

Board & Leadership Support

  • Prepare investor‑related materials for Board of Directors meetings, including market updates, shareholder feedback, and valuation analysis.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on investor expectations, messaging risks, and market perception.

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, equity research, and/or investor relations, with meaningful exposure to public company dynamics.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with institutional investors and sell‑side analysts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with executive presence.Preferred
  • Investment banking experience covering med‑tech, medical devices, or healthcare companies.
  • Prior in‑house investor relations experience at a publicly traded company.
  • MBA, CFA, or similar advanced credential.
  • Experience supporting capital markets transactions (IPO, follow‑on offerings, debt issuance) and M&A communications.

Compensation:

  • The salary for this role will range from 205,700.00 - 307,500 USD annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives. Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.

  • Less than 20%
