The Role

We are looking for a Head of Platform Operations to own and scale all operations related to Turing's talent platform. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for the full lifecycle of talent on the platform — from sourcing and matching to payments, compliance, and offboarding.

This role is for a systems thinker and operational leader who can manage a large, complex organization with a lean team, partner closely with Product to productize key workflows, and bring rigorous metrics discipline to every function they own.

What You'll DoTalent Matching
  • Refine candidate evaluation and funnel management processes to maximize signal quality and throughput in identifying top 1% talent from Turing's 6M+ pool.
  • Build and optimize workflows that get the right talent allocated to the right opportunities quickly and reliably.
  • Partner with Product and Data teams to develop intelligent, scalable matching infrastructure.
Contractor Pool Management
  • Oversee the operational management of a large, global contractor pool — ensuring an excellent experience from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Build systems for contractor lifecycle management that can scale with systems and AI-driven automation.
  • Drive improvements to onboarding speed and quality, ensuring contractors are productive from day one.
Payments & Compliance
  • Own end-to-end in house payments infrastructure for contractors globally - ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple geographies and payment rails.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to stay ahead of evolving international compliance requirements for contractor engagements mitigating regulatory and contractual risk.
Support Operations
  • Lead the support function for the platform — setting quality standards, resolution SLAs, and escalation frameworks.
  • Build feedback loops between support signals and product/ops improvements to systematically reduce recurring issues.
  • Ensure talent and client-facing teams have the operational infrastructure to resolve issues at scale.
We're Excited If You Are:
  • Experienced in talent marketplace operations: you've built or scaled internal infrastructure for marketplace or staffing context.
  • Metrics-obsessed: you define success through numbers, build dashboards, and make decisions rooted in data rather than intuition.
  • Operationally excellent with a lean mindset: you know how to run a large, complex organization without over-hiring, and you build systems that scale without you.
  • A product-minded operator: you bridge the gap between operations and product, fluent in both languages and credible in both rooms.
  • A strong cross-functional leader: you've worked effectively across Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, and external partners to drive outcomes.
Preferred Background
  • 10+ years of experience in platform operations, marketplace operations, or a closely related function, with increasing scope of responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven automation in operational workflows.
  • Experience building and scaling proprietary systems that evolve with organizational growth and adapt to operational change.
  • Experience managing large, geographically distributed teams — and doing more with less.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and running contractor onboarding, payments, and compliance infrastructure at scale.
  • Prior experience at a talent marketplace, gig economy platform, or staffing technology company is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Currently located in Eastern or Central timezone

Compensation Range: $245,000 - $300,000 + equity

Values
  • We are client first: We put our clients at the center of everything we do, because their success is the ultimate measure of our value.

  • We work at Start-Up Speed: We move fast, stay agile and favor action because momentum is the foundation of perfection

  • We are AI forward: We help our clients build the future of Al and implement it in our own roles and workflow to amplify productivity.

Advantages of joining Turing
  • Amazing work culture (Super collaborative & supportive work environment; 5 days a week)

  • Awesome colleagues (Surround yourself with top talent from Meta, Google, LinkedIn etc. as well as people with deep startup experience)

  • Competitive compensation

  • Flexible working hours
