Join a technology consulting team dedicated entirely to education, building software that helps students and institutions succeed. You'll join a close-knit engineering team that values ownership and mentorship, and own complex backend systems end-to-end — estimating scope, catching issues early, and representing technical work directly to clients. We're looking for a senior backend engineer who's curious, humble, and energized by work that serves a mission beyond the bottom line.

If you have…

  • 6+ years building and supporting web-based applications in higher education
  • Production Python backend experience, ideally with FastAPI
  • Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and Docker
  • Experience designing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Relational database experience, PostgreSQL preferred
  • Git and strong automated testing habits
  • Client-facing or consulting experience
  • Daily use of AI tools

We look forward to hearing from you!
