As a home-based Caregiver, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home. We are hiring PRN Caregivers for multiple shifts in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
  • Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
  • Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
  • Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs

Required Qualifications:
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified clients' needs
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
  • Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire

State Specific Requirement:
  • FL:
    • Successful completion of at least forty hours of training in areas required by the Agency for Health Care Administration OR successfully passed the home health aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007 created by AHCA).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of experience in home care
  • Proven ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to multi-task, self-directed, good time management skills
  • Proven good communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Proven to possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and their families keeping personal matters confidential
  • Proven to possess a solid commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of the organization
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing organizational needs

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $13 to $20 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
