As the Sr. HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to business leaders, particularly focusing on high growth and transforming our Operations organization.
You will leverage your expertise in talent management, organizational development, and strategic partnering to drive business outcomes and enhance workforce engagement. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment will be key to effectively supporting our Operations teams and facilitating their continuous improvement and success. This role will be in office 4x a week, Monday-Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive level business leaders of the Operations organizations to align people strategies with organizational goals, particularly in supporting the Operations teams to achieve performance targets.
Coach & Advisor: Partners with leaders and managers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their leadership skills, improve employee performance, address challenges, and achieve organizational goals, by actively listening, asking insightful questions, setting clear goals, and providing actionable feedback to facilitate individual and team growth within Clearwater, acting as a strategic advisor and development partner to enhance overall organizational performance.
Talent Management: Develop and implement talent strategies alongside Talent Acquisition to attract top talent for Operations roles and support the organization in skill development as they evolve into new markets.
Performance Management: Will assist with year-end performance management process, ensuring effective goal setting, ongoing feedback, and performance evaluations for employees to maximize engagement and productivity.
Organizational Development: Assess organizational needs and implement development programs to enhance employee capabilities, including training, leadership development, and succession planning.
Change Management: Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication throughout the Operations organization.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize metrics and analytics to make informed decisions and contribute to business strategy, focusing on talent utilization, turnover rates, and engagement levels.
Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and support the development of HR policies and programs that promote a high performing workplace.
Culture and Engagement: Champion initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and recognition programs tailored to the unique demands of sales personnel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a focus on high-growth organizations.
Strong understanding of HR metrics and the ability to leverage data for business insight.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organizations.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software systems.
Experience with year end performance management process, ensuring effective goal setting, ongoing feedback, and performance evaluations for employees to maximize engagement and productivity.
Experience in the tech industry is preferred.
Chicago Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 base
