Job Description:
The HR Compliance Generalist – Associate plays a vital role in supporting Human Resources compliance and operations. This position assists and supports firmwide programs in areas such as employee lifecycle activities, policy administration, compliance, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing day-to-day HR functions with special projects that impact the broader organization.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Staff Activities
- Support HR management in the termination process, including voluntary/involuntary separations, exit interviews, documentation, and communication.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of separation documentation and activity tracking.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., Deployment Center) to manage equipment return and offboarding logistics.
- Prepare and distribute monthly severance reporting for Financial Services.
Policy, Procedure & Compliance
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures; propose revisions based on organizational needs or industry best practices.
- Research, develop, and communicate HR policy updates to HR Compliance leadership.
- Assist with SOC Audits and HR-related RFP requests within the Questionnaire Center, as needed.
Program & Project Support
- Contribute to HR-related merger and acquisition activities.
- Facilitate requests for verification of employment.
- Participate in HR special projects.
- Review Workday reports (terminations, staff changes, new hires) to ensure accurate information and identification of themes within HR data.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from multiple group mailboxes including HR Compliance, HR Services, and others.
- Provide support to other areas of HR Compliance as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent progressive HR experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years HR experience.
- Certification: PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
