The HR Generalist will play a critical role in strengthening and scaling AGE Solutions' people operations across federal programs. This role supports day-to-day HR administration while also partnering in policy development, compliance oversight, employee engagement, training development, and workforce initiatives.
The ideal candidate thrives in government contracting environments and is comfortable balancing structure, compliance, and culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and guidance
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data integrity.
- Administer leave tracking (FMLA, LWOP, etc.)
- Ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant.
- Workforce Policy & compliance
- Support maintenance and updating of workforce policies and employee handbook materials.
- Draft policy updates and coordinate internal review/ approval cycles.
- Monitor regulatory changes (federal, state, DoD-related)
- Support audit preparation (OFCCP, EEO, labor category documentation, etc.)
- Assist in tracking certification, clearance requirements, and contract-specific compliance items.
- Employee Engagement & Recognition
- Support and help drive employee recognition initiatives.
- Assist in executing employee engagement efforts and internal communications.
- Support pulse checks or engagement surveys.
- Help reinforce AGE's values through HR programs and touchpoints.
- Training & Development
- Coordinate release and tracking of required compliance trainings.
- Support administration of pertinent learning management system and training completion tracking.
- Support rollout of new training initiatives (i.e. security awareness, policy refreshers)
- Track completion and escalate gaps as needed.
- Support development initiative tied to AGE's Performance Development.
- Performance & Workforce Planning
- Support executive of performance cycles.
- Assist in tracking metrics and report.
- Support compensation and bonus cycle documentation.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-8 yrs of Human Resources experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting a federal government contracting workforce.
- Working knowledge of employment law and Human Resources compliance.
- Strong writing skills.
- High attention to detail and discretion.
- Hands on experience with HRIS platforms (i.e. Rippling or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Human Resources Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
This position primarily operates in a remote work environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and video conferencing tools. This role may require travel to support program or corporate activities.
The employee may be required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, communicate effectively, and occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
Compensation: $80,000
