POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing key HR functions across the employee lifecycle, with responsibility for recruiting, employee support, and HR operations. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who can work independently on day-to-day HR activities and take ownership of core processes, while partnering closely with the HR Director on more complex initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and execute day-to-day HR support across onboarding, offboarding, performance management, learning and development, payroll, benefits, programs and compliance functions.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee data in all HR systems, including UKG/Kronos, NetSuite, and Concur, ensuring data integrity and producing reports as needed.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer execution, partnering with hiring managers to align on needs, and building and maintaining candidate pipelines.
- Lead the onboarding process, including preparing materials, facilitating orientation, and ensuring new employees have a smooth, welcoming, and engaging entry experience.
- Oversee HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee data, supporting payroll, and processing employee changes such as promotions, compensation updates, and organizational changes.
- Assist in the planning and execution of performance reviews and learning initiatives, supporting employee development and documentation tracking.
- Support benefits administration and compliance, including employee enrollment, communications, issue resolution, and administration of leave programs such as FMLA, disability, and workers’ compensation.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and support, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, assisting managers with routine employee matters, and supporting performance management processes. This includes coaching managers, supporting performance improvement plans, and supporting employee relations matters through exits and terminations in compliance with company policy.
- Maintain and update HR intranet pages and internal content to ensure employees have access to the latest information.
- Ensure HR processes and policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws, and assist in compliance audits or updates as needed.
- Provide general administrative and office management support to maintain smooth, organized, and professional office operations, including mail and package processing, office supply management, coordination with building management, and support for onsite meetings and related logistics, including catering and basic meeting technology support.
- Support broader HR initiatives led by the HR Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (strongly preferred).
- 4–6 years of HR experience.
- Experience in advertising, media, or a related industry preferred.
- SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting and sourcing.
- Experience with UKG/Ultimate Software, NetSuite, or Concur is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
- This is a primarily onsite role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with additional onsite days as needed based on business needs.

Position Salary
We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $70K - $90K. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
