This position
The Director Global Benefits & Mobility is responsible for designing and administering benefits for over 4,000 employees in 10+ countries. This is a highly visible position within HR and across the company. You will have the ability to design programs that meets the needs of our employees and do this with the support of a great team.

This position reports to the VP of Global Total Rewards.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the Benefits vision and strategy in support of DocuSign’s overarching mission and goals; develop a roadmap to achieve the defined vision and strategy in partnership with teams across the company including People Operations, Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll and Legal
  • Lead, manage and develop a small but mighty team of benefits professionals
  • Ensure operational excellence in the day-to-day management of our benefits programs, including but not limited to vendor management, new hire enrollment, open enrollment, compliance requirements, budget management, and system requirements
  • Ensure consistent and reliable program support for employees, including communications, trainings, online content and more


Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years managing US and International benefit programs
  • 5+ years managing a team of benefit professionals
  • 5+ years’ experience leading the USA Leave of Absence and Paid Parental Leave practice


Preferred Qualifications

  • Negotiate coverage, services and costs with our carriers, brokers and program vendors. You will ensure that policy aligns and complies with country, state/province laws & regulations.
  • Partner with the HR, Finance and Legal teams to explore and implement creative programs and to verify feasibility in terms of cost, risk to the company, and legal implications. Communication
  • Improve administrative efficiency and ensure benefit and leave of absence programs, procedures and processes are scalable for a high growth organization
  • Excellent writing and communications skills to clearly communicate programs and facilitate training employees in benefits offerings, systems and processes.
  • Create and maintain relations with your peers at other companies; maintain an on‑going awareness of market best practices.
  • Point person for mergers and acquisitions and opening of new offices in countries where we do not yet have a presence
  • Understand the unique needs of our employees, analyze the effectiveness of our current programs, and research new potential offerings for our population based on benchmarks and competition
  • Actively encourage and support team members development, educational and career growth
