A key member of our Chicago management team and reporting directly into our North American CEO, you’ll take ownership of business-critical projects, ensuring our North America HR function supports our hyper growth model. With much of our HR infrastructure in place, you’ll be tasked with identifying opportunities to automate processes and introduce employee self-service.

An experienced coach and development expert, you’ll partner with line managers and leaders to maximize the potential of our key asset – our people. Through the implementation of performance management practices and systems, you’ll provide the tools measure the success of our training programs and focus on embedding a high-performance culture.

Commercially astute, you’ll know exactly where HR can deliver added value initiatives across a company growing in size and complexity. An experienced HR professional, you’ll demonstrate the resilience and drive to challenge leaders and strive for positive change.

Salary:  Competitive

Location: 401 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • On-going development of HR Policies and Procedures to ensure best practice and compliance with Federal and State laws
  • Implementing and overseeing HR compliance programs to prevent or mitigate violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Developing HR infrastructure / new HRIS, with emphasis on self-service & automation of processes
  • Developing programs to maximize the potential of our key asset - People.
  • Championing “Inclusion and Diversity” within the company
  • Conducting ongoing health checks and revisions to policies and procedures to identify and remedy hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • Acting as the objective voice of compliance within the organization
  • Managing 3rd party vendors and covering requests for information from regulatory bodies

Key skill requirements:

  • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably gained in a large corporate environment
  • Previous experience and knowledge in the HR compliance field
  • Bachelor’s degree with major concentration in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Robust, dynamic, and business centric person to be part of the NA Senior Management Team
