Job Description
As part of the Talent function, the Senior Principal, Talent Consultant is responsible for working with senior business leaders, business product owners and others in HR to formulate enterprise-wide talent & development strategy supporting the Product Owner (PO) community. This involves partnering with stakeholders to design an overall approach to talent identification, assessment, onboarding, and development. This role will champion the company’s efforts to drive these processes and culture that allows our PO community to improve their performance and plan for critical talent both now and in the future to meet our strategic business goals.
The role has 3 major functions:
In partnership with other stakeholders, set the talent management strategies for PO community and ensure alignment across the company.
Responsible for the design, development, and delivery of processes, programs, and tools in support of talent management strategies. Manages performance initiatives and programs including: performance management, goal setting, development planning, career development, mobility, talent reviews, and succession planning.
Talent partner and advisor to HR Consultants, Tech Academy, Product Owner Leaders, and Talent Performance and Development Organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
Overall onboarding and learning journey design and partnering with key stakeholders on executing and measuring impact ( co-architect of learning journey)
Creates & delivers the Leadership & Discover behaviors learning elements within the design
Co-creates & Co-delivers Business learning elements
Talent Partner for PO Community on aligning PO standard to talent lifecycle ( Assessing, Acquiring, Develop and Perform) needs
Ensuring consistency of talent – with strong pipeline / bench strength; partners with other talent COE’s to ensure a healthy talent lifecycle (role standards, assessment, capability-building)
Conduct ongoing training and development needs assessment through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication
Prepare and present talent updates for relevant leadership, board and oversight groups.
Lead organizational career development efforts including development of a structured internal mobility program designed to ensure top talent at leadership levels are gaining the appropriate experiences they need to enhance and expedite their development and career progression.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Social Sciences, Business, or related field
8+ years of experience in HR Consulting, Business Partner, Talent Management, Organization Development, Project Management, or related field
Large scale project and change management expertise.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to consult with all levels of management, including senior management
Preferred Qualifications
