Senior Training Manager
Snapsheet is looking for a Senior Training Manager to join our Learning and Development team!
As a Senior Training Manager, you will work across all lines of business to help align the strategy of the organization with the needs of our clients and team members. You will serve as a tactical and strategic leader who can understand the day-to-day training requirements of the business as well as the overarching goals and the path to achieve it.
In this player-coach role, the Senior Training Manager is responsible for leading and growing our L&D team as well as executing on multiple projects simultaneously. You not only see the value in developing and engaging direct reports, but you are eager to execute and take on reengineering our processes, managing projects seamlessly from start to finish, and building relationships with our stakeholders.

Responsibilities of Senior Training Manager
- Manage, mentor and develop in-office and remote L&D team members fostering a collaborative team environment
- Build and execute learning experiences that are accessible to in-person and remote learners, and offer scalable solutions
- Optimize internal processes and allocate resources to meet project timelines
- Oversee the design and development of a range of learning experiences for internal employees and external clients, including: instructor-led training (ILT) design, eLearning and blended learning solutions, online learning solutions including websites, and social, peer, distributed and other innovative learning and knowledge initiatives
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity to complex training roadblocks
- Manage program deliverables and timelines, overseeing the instructional design process and coordinating the delivery of training to the relevant cross-functional teams in order to establish and drive training development
- Consult with partners, clients and stakeholders to determine training needs and optimal approach to meet those needs
- Partner with leadership in execution of training strategy, prioritization, timeline and necessary adjustments based on feedback
- Lead team in improving depth and quality of content, driving the enhancement of existing content and managing priority efforts
- Develop and maintain feedback loop process as a means toward continuous improvement and development of new training platforms, venues or opportunities
- Provide, present and report on learning metrics to communicate our ROI and business impact to leadership and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and autonomously while thinking and acting strategically with regard to how we support and achieve business goals
Qualifications of the Senior Training Manager
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience or proven ability to succeed in a higher-level design position
- Anticipate the needs of the business and exhibit a bias for action
- Expertise in design methodology and principles (ie CRI)
- Strong people management skills with experience building and supporting high performing teams
- Experience designing and developing learning solutions for a variety of formats and audiences both internally and externally
- Experience devising and implementing rollout strategies as well as formalizing training intakes
- Track record of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external clients
- Previous experience working in the technology preferred
- Certification in CPLP, PMP, and Lean 6 Sigma is a plus
