The role:

Our Talent Acquisition Lead will be invaluable to the next phase of growth for Braviant. This individual will report to the SVP of Talent and will play a key role on the team by owning the recruiting process (with a major focus on technical recruitment) and managing employer branding initiatives. Responsibilities for this role include full cycle recruiting for all positions, collaborating with hiring managers to screen and source candidates, building our social media presence, and proactively contributing to talent development activities beyond recruiting. A successful Talent Acquisition Lead will be a strong technical recruiter who is comfortable working with all functions and experience levels and who is excited about the fast pace of a fluid startup environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process for Braviant and implement strategies to attract, recruit, select, and hire the best candidates for the job
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process for all levels and functions at Braviant, including carefully managing expectations, juggling priorities, and fully understanding technical and leadership competencies for all open positions
  • Customize the recruitment plan to best suit the role and align all stakeholders and interview participants throughout the interview process. This involves creating customized job postings, screening resumes, working with teams on development of technical assessments, phone screening candidates, and scheduling the team phone and onsite interviews
  • Manage the offer negotiation process, including making recommendations, drafting offer letters, and ensuring that offer packages include up to date offer and benefits details
  • Creatively source candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, networking, referrals, and other tools and strategies
  • Develop and analyze reports on recruiting metrics utilizing resources such as candidate data from Lever Reports and will communicate insights and recommendations to hiring managers and senior leadership
  • Coordinate with new hires, managers, and account managers and attorneys from the Envoy Global platform to manage the USCIS visa process for OPT extensions, H-1B lottery sponsorship, and Green Card sponsorship
  • Develop and manage content for external profiles such as Built In Chicago, Twitter, Glassdoor and LinkedIn
  • Own and manage the onboarding process and first 90 days experience for all new hires
  • Act as an ambassador for Braviant in the Chicago community
  • Make suggestions, recommend improvements, and keep yourself abreast of Talent Acquisition industry trends and innovations to help Braviant develop best-in-class recruitment capabilities! 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience with full-cycle technical recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience filling technical and data-driven roles including Software Engineering, Data, Analytics, and Product Management
  • Experience using key recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, Glassdoor, Built In Chicago and any other applicable tools or job boards

  • Experience using Lever as an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Strong writing skills with experience creating corporate social media content
  • Experience managing the hiring process with employees requiring visa sponsorship

Location

Our company is located in the heart of downtown with great access to public transportation (both Metra & CTA), coffee shops, and restaurants. Currently our teams are working remotely for the foreseeable future.
