About the job.
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Tovala is growing and we need a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find rockstars for various departments, from Production Managers to Engineers and everything in between. This person will be super organized and comfortable assisting with the various steps of the recruiting process - from sourcing and screening candidates to providing timely candidate updates. This role is perfect for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are interested in helping hire for a growing tech company.
How you'll spend your time at Tovala:

  • Sourcing candidates from a variety of methods such as inbound applications and outreach on LinkedIn
  • Screening candidates on the phone & virtually
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews
  • Communicating with candidates to keep them informed at all stages of the process
  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine ideal candidate profiles for open roles
  • Facilitating interview debrief meetings with hiring managers and interview panelists

Requirements
About you.

  • Bachelors required, preferably in HR, Business, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of Recruiting experience
  • You are excited by the challenge of hiring for a variety of departments at all levels from Assemblers to Engineers and everything in between
  • You are resourceful in building hiring pipelines for open positions outside of inbound applications
  • You can operate with a high level of autonomy and thrive when given the freedom and opportunity to solve problems
  • You are a very organized person who pays attention to details
  • You care about candidate experience - you want to make candidates feel great every step of the way
  • You can adapt to change quickly and when faced with multiple priorities, you remain cool as a cucumber
  • You communicate well, both verbally and in writing, and understand the importance of confidentiality
  • You're interested in startups and excited to work in a fast-paced environment

Location

We have a large, open-plan office in the West Loop but we're a flexible, hybrid workplace so you can determine with your manager and team how often to come in.
