Job Description

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. 

We’re looking for an HRIS Analyst to join our HR Technology team. In this role, you’ll support and enhance our HR systems through analyses, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements. While we use Workday and Smart Recruiters, we welcome candidates with experience in other HR or payroll systems who are eager to learn and excited to grow their Workday skills. System modules include human capital management, absence, timekeeping, talent, learning, compensation, payroll, and benefits. Additionally, you may provide end-user support including job aids and training on HR systems and/or processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HR system functionality
  • Identify system challenges and recommend enhancements that support business goals
  • Support HR system projects, including acquisitions and new module rollouts
  • Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve business processes designs
  • Create and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards
  • Provide end-user support, including job aids, training materials, and communications
  • Review, test and validate system updates, upgrades, and new functionality
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders (e.g., payroll, HR Business Partners) to ensure they are supported in their use of HR systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Human Resources, or a related subject or equivalent experience required.
  • Working knowledge and previous experience with HR/Payroll data and systems. Prior experience with Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) including a strong understanding and experience with database, spreadsheet, and report writing tools.
  • 3 years of experience perferred with HRIS software

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
