We are seeking an HRIS Workday Consultant to lead the technical design necessary for the development of cutting-edge solutions that empower our business stakeholders and enhance customer service experience. This is your opportunity to serve as a consultant and ‘go to’ person for key HR system knowledge, including multiple Workday modules (Compensation and AI), and may also provide specialized expertise in one or more key Workday modules and/or other HR applications.

As an HRIS Workday Compensation and AI Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently evaluating complex system requirements to execute on needed configurations/implementations.
  • Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business requirements and solutions.
  • Working as a liaison among HR areas and other internal stakeholders in order to elicit, organize, evaluate and validate requirements for changes to systems.
  • Reviewing business requirements and system outcomes with stakeholders accordingly.
  • Managing Workday releases, updates and testing.
  • Leading HRIS projects and has accountability for ongoing activities.
  • Using a high degree of technical acumen to solve unique or complex HRIS problems.
  • Recommending new system functionality and/or configuration and typically leads upgrade planning; performing major system enhancements and supports new product development.
  • Training, mentoring, and acting as a technical resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Influencing the organizational objectives of HRIS and providing input into operational plans that support the execution of HR Services/Operations strategies.
  • Working independently, receiving minimal guidance on assignments requiring high technical complexity and coordination.
  • Serving as a team leader and liaison for large projects with high visibility within HR and very limited oversight from the HRIS manager.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and design long term solutions. Test enhancements and regression test Workday releases to ensure system functionality properly works, report defects and collaborate with peers to ensure the issues were fixed.
  • Lead change in an effective manner while considering user needs, compliance policies and regulatory procedures.
  • Periodically audit existing security and report concerns to leadership along with suggested next steps.

The HRIS Workday Compensation and AI Build Consultant position is well suited for you if you:

  • Possess in-depth technical knowledge of HRIS and several Workday modules including Compensation and Integrations. 
  • Have a solid ability to consult and transfer knowledge of critical HRIS skills. 
  • Can build knowledge of the organization, its processes, and customers to provide recommendations regarding system solutions. 
  • Analyze and solve complex business problems. 
  • Hold outstanding communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly management/colleagues in other HR areas. 
  • Can translate highly technical concepts into terms understandable by business partners inside and outside of HR. 
  • Work as a collaborative part of the project team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Can effectively balance multiple priorities. 
  • Possess solid understanding of the business process, workflows, and data requirements for Workday integrations across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time, Compensation and Absence and Help modules. 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires five years of progressive HRIS responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in configuring functions within the Workday Compensation , and working with external vendors like E-trade and Salary.com.
  • Working experience in Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Equity, Job Family, Job Profile, Pay Gade and Pay Grade Profile Configuration.

  • Workday Pro Certification is preferred.
  • Progressive experience with AI Workday Modules.
  • Prior experience in both IT and HR Departments.

Compensation

Pay Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00 Annual
